This Advertising Policy explains how advertisements, sponsored content, affiliate links, and promotional materials may appear on Ask Quiz Wallah, available at https://ask.quizwallah.com.
Ask Quiz Wallah is part of the Quiz Wallah network, which also includes https://quizwallah.com.
Advertising helps us maintain and improve our educational and community services. We aim to present advertisements responsibly without compromising user safety, trust, or the independence of community content.
1. Types of Advertising
Ask Quiz Wallah may display:
- Banner and display advertisements
- Advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks
- Sponsored articles, questions, or educational resources
- Promoted products or services
- Affiliate links
- Brand partnerships
- Promotional announcements
- Direct advertisements purchased from Quiz Wallah
- Advertisements within emails or notifications, where permitted

The type, position, and availability of advertising may change over time.
2. Identification of Advertisements
Where reasonably appropriate, commercial content controlled by Quiz Wallah will be identified using labels such as:
- Ad
- Sponsored
- Promoted
- Paid Partnership
- Affiliate Link
Advertisements should be visually distinguishable from ordinary questions, answers, editorial content, and platform controls.
Third-party advertising networks may apply their own labels and formats.
3. Advertising Does Not Mean Endorsement
The appearance of an advertisement does not necessarily mean that Quiz Wallah:
- Recommends the advertiser
- Guarantees the product or service
- Confirms every advertising claim
- Has tested the advertised product
- Accepts responsibility for the advertiser
- Has a partnership with the advertiser beyond displaying the advertisement
Users should independently evaluate an advertiser, offer, product, or service before making a purchase or providing personal information.
4. Independence of Community Content
Advertising relationships must not determine whether a community answer is treated as correct.
Payment for advertising does not give an advertiser the right to:
- Control user opinions
- Remove lawful criticism
- Manipulate accepted answers
- Artificially increase votes or rankings
- Disguise advertising as an independent user recommendation
- Override our Community Guidelines
- Receive confidential user information without lawful authorisation
Sponsored content may receive promotional placement, but it should be identified as commercial content where reasonably appropriate.
5. Advertiser Responsibilities
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their advertisements:
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Are accurate and not misleading
- Clearly disclose important conditions
- Do not make unsupported claims
- Do not infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, or other rights
- Lead to safe and functional landing pages
- Reflect the product or service actually offered
- Clearly disclose prices, fees, limitations, and eligibility conditions
- Comply with applicable advertising-network policies
- Are appropriate for the intended audience
Advertisers must hold any licences, approvals, or permissions required for their products and services.
6. Prohibited Advertisements

- Examination cheating, candidate impersonation, or guaranteed-selection schemes
- False government, recruitment, admission, or scholarship notices
- Misleading claims about examination results
- Hate, discrimination, harassment, or violence
- Sexual or exploitative content
- Content that exploits or endangers minors
- Dangerous products or instructions
- Sale of accounts, votes, points, rankings, certificates, or fake qualifications
- Counterfeit or stolen goods
- Unauthorised collection of personal or financial information
- Claims that violate consumer-protection laws
- Any other content prohibited by applicable law or platform policies
We may also restrict sensitive categories that we consider unsuitable for a student-focused platform.
7. Restricted and Sensitive Advertising
Certain advertisements may require additional review, evidence, targeting restrictions, disclaimers, or legal documentation.
These may include:
- Financial products and investment services
- Healthcare products or medical claims
- Employment and recruitment services
- Educational admissions and scholarships
- Political or public-issue advertising
- Real-money gaming, betting, or gambling

Quiz Wallah may decline any advertisement that is inappropriate for the platform or its audience, even if the advertisement is otherwise lawful.
8. Educational Advertising
Advertisements for courses, coaching, books, test series, tutoring, admissions, or examination services must not:
- Guarantee selection, marks, rank, admission, or employment
- Fabricate student results or testimonials
- Misrepresent teacher qualifications
- Falsely claim government approval
- Create false urgency
- Hide important fees or recurring charges
- Use official logos without permission
- Promote leaked or confidential examination material
- Make claims that cannot be reasonably substantiated
Results achieved by one student must not be presented as results guaranteed for every user.
9. Affiliate Links
Some links may be affiliate links. If a user clicks an affiliate link and completes a purchase, Quiz Wallah may receive a commission at no additional cost to the user, unless otherwise stated.
Affiliate relationships do not change our responsibility to identify commercial content where appropriate.
The price, availability, warranty, delivery, refund terms, and quality of an affiliate product are controlled by the relevant seller or provider.
10. Sponsored Content
Sponsored content may include paid articles, learning resources, announcements, or collaborations.
Where reasonably appropriate:
- It will be labelled as sponsored or promotional.
- The sponsor may be identified.
- Material commercial relationships will be disclosed.
- Sponsored claims must comply with this policy.
- Sponsorship will not exempt content from moderation.
A sponsor’s views do not necessarily represent the views of Quiz Wallah.
11. User-Generated Promotions
Users must not disguise advertising as an independent answer, recommendation, or review.
A user with a financial, employment, referral, ownership, or other material connection to a promoted product should clearly disclose that relationship.
Unauthorised promotion may be removed when it is:
- Repetitive
- Irrelevant
- Misleading
- Undisclosed
- Posted through multiple accounts
- Intended mainly to generate traffic
- Harmful or unsafe
- In violation of community rules
Genuine recommendations based on personal experience may be allowed when they are relevant, honest, and appropriately disclosed.
12. Personalised and Non-Personalised Advertising
Where permitted, advertising may be:
- Personalised: Selected using information such as interests, previous activity, approximate location, or other permitted signals.

The availability of personalised advertising may depend on:
- Your location
- Your age or account status
- Your cookie choices
- Browser or device settings
- Applicable law
- The policies of the advertising provider
Where consent is required, personalised advertising cookies should not be activated until consent has been obtained.
13. Cookies and Advertising Technologies

- Display advertisements
- Limit how often an advertisement appears

- Detect invalid traffic or fraud
- Select relevant advertisements

14. Advertising and Children
Ask Quiz Wallah is an educational platform that may be used by younger learners.
Advertising directed towards or likely to be seen by children must not:
- Exploit their inexperience
- Pressure them to make purchases
- Encourage them to hide purchases from parents
- Request unnecessary personal information
- Contain age-inappropriate material
- Make misleading promises
- Promote unsafe behaviour
Where required, age-appropriate restrictions and non-personalised advertising practices may be applied.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s online purchases and use of advertising links.
15. Third-Party Advertising Networks
Some advertisements may be automatically selected and delivered by third-party advertising networks.
These providers may control:
- Advertisement selection
- Advertiser verification
- Cookie technology
- Personalisation
- Landing pages
- Advertisement measurement
- Their own complaint procedures
Although we may block or report inappropriate advertisements, we do not control every advertisement before it appears.
Third-party providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable law.

We aim to place advertisements in a way that does not intentionally:
- Mislead users into clicking
- Disguise ads as navigation buttons

- Create false system or security warnings
- Suggest that an advertisement is an official answer
Advertisement placement may vary by page, device, account status, and service availability.
