Ask Quiz Wallah is a learning community built on respect, honesty, and responsible knowledge-sharing.
This User Conduct Policy explains how users are expected to behave while using Ask Quiz Wallah, available at https://ask.quizwallah.com.
It applies to all account activity, profiles, questions, answers, comments, messages, votes, reports, uploaded files, links, and interactions with other users.
By using Ask Quiz Wallah, you agree to follow this policy, our Community Guidelines, Content and Moderation Policy, and Terms and Conditions.
1. Act Respectfully
Treat students, teachers, contributors, moderators, and other community members with courtesy.
You may disagree with an answer or opinion, but your response must address the idea rather than attack the person.
You must not:
- Insult, threaten, or humiliate another user
- Bully or repeatedly target someone
- Use abusive, vulgar, or degrading language
- Mock users for asking basic questions
- Encourage harassment or violence
- Make discriminatory or hateful statements
- Continue unwanted contact after being asked to stop
- Attempt to provoke arguments or disrupt discussions
Constructive disagreement is welcome. Personal hostility is not.
2. Represent Yourself Honestly
Your account and profile must not mislead other users.
You must not:
- Impersonate another person
- Pretend to represent Quiz Wallah
- Falsely claim to be a teacher, institution, government official, or examination authority
- Misrepresent qualifications, experience, or achievements
- Use another person’s name, photograph, or identity without permission
- Create a profile that falsely suggests official endorsement
- Make false guarantees about marks, selection, admission, or employment
Parody or educational accounts must be clearly identified where confusion is reasonably possible.
3. Keep Your Account Secure
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
You should:
- Use a strong and unique password.
- Keep your login information confidential.
- Sign out when using a shared device.
- Review unexpected account activity.
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not share, sell, transfer, rent, or trade your account.
Never request another user’s password, OTP, payment PIN, or other confidential credentials.
4. Use One Genuine Account
You should normally maintain only one personal account.
You must not create or control multiple accounts to:
- Manipulate votes or rankings
- Earn points or rewards unfairly
- Avoid a suspension
- Support your own questions or answers
- Target another user
- Submit coordinated reports
- Create artificial followers or engagement
- Mislead the community about public support
Duplicate or deceptive accounts may be restricted or removed.
5. Communicate Constructively
Questions, answers, and comments should contribute meaningfully to the discussion.
When interacting with others:
- Stay relevant to the topic.
- Explain disagreements calmly.
- Provide reasoning or evidence.
- Ask for clarification politely.
- Correct mistakes without insulting the contributor.
- Be patient with new learners.
- Avoid unnecessary arguments.
Do not repeatedly demand an answer, pressure a contributor, or contact users who have indicated that they do not want further communication.
6. Do Not Harass or Exploit Users
You must not use Ask Quiz Wallah to:
- Stalk or monitor another person
- Send repeated unwanted messages
- Threaten to expose private information
- Pressure users for photographs or personal details
- Make unwanted sexual comments or requests
- Exploit a person’s age, inexperience, or vulnerability
- Encourage a user to move to a private platform for suspicious purposes
- Blackmail, deceive, or coerce another person
- Organise attacks against a user or group
Conduct occurring through Ask Quiz Wallah may be reviewed even if part of the interaction later moves to another platform.
7. Protect Privacy
Respect your own privacy and the privacy of others.
Do not publish or request:
- Passwords or OTPs
- Phone numbers
- Personal email addresses
- Full residential addresses
- Bank or payment details
- Government identification numbers
- Private documents or conversations
- Medical or other sensitive records
- Personal information about minors
- Information that could expose someone to harm
Do not share another person’s private information without lawful authority and appropriate permission.
If private information is posted accidentally, report it immediately.
8. Participate Honestly
Community features must be used for their intended purpose.
You must not:
- Exchange votes or reactions
- Buy or sell followers, points, badges, ranks, or coins
- Use automated systems to generate activity
- Coordinate artificial voting
- Target a user with dishonest downvotes
- Copy answers to gain recognition
- Submit meaningless content to earn points
- Make false reports against another user
- Exploit technical errors for an unfair advantage
Points and recognition may be corrected, removed, or cancelled when manipulation is detected.
9. Do Not Post Spam
Spam includes repetitive, irrelevant, deceptive, or unsolicited activity.
You must not:
- Post the same question repeatedly
- Publish identical or minimally changed answers
- Add unrelated links
- Send unsolicited promotional messages
- Use misleading titles to attract clicks
- Promote referral codes without permission
- Advertise products or services in unrelated discussions
- Mass-follow or contact users for marketing
- Publish automatically generated filler
- Redirect users to unsafe or deceptive websites
A relevant link may be shared when it directly supports a genuine answer and is accompanied by a useful explanation.
10. Follow Academic Integrity Rules
Ask Quiz Wallah supports learning and examination preparation. It must not be used to facilitate cheating.
You must not:
- Request or provide answers during a live or proctored examination
- Share leaked or unlawfully obtained examination papers
- Help someone impersonate a candidate
- Provide methods for bypassing examination security
- Complete restricted assignments dishonestly on another person’s behalf
- Misrepresent copied work as original
- Offer paid cheating or impersonation services
You may discuss previous-year questions, mock tests, practice problems, and officially released materials for educational purposes.
11. Respect Intellectual Property
Publish only content that you created or are legally permitted to use.
You must not:
- Upload pirated books, PDFs, videos, or courses
- Share complete paid test series
- Copy another person’s answer and claim it as your own
- Remove ownership information or watermarks
- Distribute copyrighted images without permission
- Link to unauthorised copies of protected materials
- Use Quiz Wallah branding without authorisation
When using a source, provide appropriate credit and use only what is reasonably necessary.
Attribution does not automatically make unauthorised copying lawful.
12. Do Not Engage in Fraud or Deception
You must not:
- Promote scams or fraudulent schemes
- Request money under false pretences
- Publish fake job, admission, scholarship, or examination notices
- Misrepresent a product, service, qualification, or result
- Send phishing links or collect credentials
- Conduct unauthorised fundraising
- Manipulate users into making payments
- Claim guaranteed examination selection or employment
- Present altered documents as genuine
Quiz Wallah is not responsible for private transactions between users.
Avoid sending money or sensitive information to people you meet through the community.
13. Do Not Harm the Platform
You must not attempt to:
- Gain unauthorised access to an account or system
- Circumvent security or moderation controls
- Introduce malware or harmful code
- Scrape or extract data through unauthorised automated means
- Interfere with website performance
- Exploit a technical vulnerability
- Overload the platform
- Test security without written authorisation
- Reverse-engineer protected platform features where prohibited
- Help another person carry out such activity
If you discover a security issue, report it responsibly to support@quizwallah.com. Do not publicly disclose or exploit it.
14. Use Messaging Features Responsibly
Where private or direct messaging is available, use it for legitimate community communication.
Do not use messages for:
- Unsolicited advertising
- Repeated unwanted contact
- Harassment or threats
- Romantic or sexual solicitation
- Requests for private photographs
- Payment scams
- Collecting confidential information
- Moving minors into unsafe private conversations
- Distributing harmful links or files
A private message is not exempt from our rules merely because it is not publicly visible.
15. Interactions Involving Minors
Users must take particular care when interacting with minors.
You must not:
- Request private or intimate information from a minor
- Encourage secret communication
- Request or share inappropriate images
- Arrange unsafe meetings
- Exploit a minor’s trust or inexperience
- Publish information that could identify or endanger a child
- Engage in grooming or sexualised conduct
Suspected exploitation of a child may result in immediate account termination and referral to appropriate authorities where required.
16. Commercial Activity
Unauthorised commercial activity may be restricted.
Do not use Ask Quiz Wallah to:
- Repeatedly promote a business or service
- Recruit users into deceptive schemes
- Sell answers, votes, points, accounts, or ranks
- Collect payments without a legitimate and clearly disclosed purpose
- Promote pirated or unlawful products
- Make misleading commercial claims
- Circumvent approved advertising or partnership processes
Quiz Wallah may permit specific advertising, sponsorship, partnerships, or promotional activity under separate written terms.
17. Follow Moderator Instructions
Users must comply with reasonable instructions issued to protect the community or enforce platform rules.
You must not:
- Repost removed content without correction
- Continue prohibited conduct after a warning
- Bypass a temporary restriction
- Harass a moderator
- Misrepresent a moderation decision
- Encourage others to evade enforcement
- Create a new account after termination without permission
You may respectfully appeal a decision, but submitting an appeal does not suspend the restriction unless Quiz Wallah confirms otherwise.
18. Report Violations Honestly
Use the Report option when you reasonably believe that content or conduct violates platform rules.
A useful report should include:
- The relevant content or profile
- The correct reason for reporting
- A short explanation
- Supporting information where necessary
Do not submit false, retaliatory, repetitive, or coordinated reports to silence another user.
Misuse of the reporting system may itself result in enforcement.
19. Enforcement
A violation of this policy may result in:
- Guidance or a warning
- Content editing or removal
- Reduced content visibility
- Closure of a question or discussion
- Removal of points, badges, coins, or rankings
- Temporary loss of posting, voting, messaging, or commenting privileges
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Restriction across connected Quiz Wallah services
- Reporting to an appropriate authority when required by law or necessary for safety
We may consider the severity, context, intent, harm, account history, and willingness to correct the behaviour.
Serious violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning.
20. Appeals
If you believe that an enforcement decision was made incorrectly, send an appeal to:

- Your username
- Your registered email address
- The relevant content URL, if available
- The approximate date of the action
- A clear explanation
- Any supporting evidence
Do not submit repeated appeals unless you have new and relevant information.
An appeal does not guarantee reversal of the decision.
21. Policy Updates
We may update this User Conduct Policy as our community, features, risks, and legal responsibilities develop.
The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
