At Quiz Wallah, we respect your privacy and provide a way to request the deletion of your account and associated personal information.
This page applies to Ask Quiz Wallah, available at https://ask.quizwallah.com, and connected services on https://quizwallah.com.
Before Requesting Deletion
QuizWallah.com and Ask Quiz Wallah may use a connected account through the Quiz Wallah multisite network.
When submitting your request, please clearly choose whether you want to:
- Delete only your Ask Quiz Wallah profile and associated data; or
- Delete your entire Quiz Wallah network account, including access to both Ask Quiz Wallah and QuizWallah.com.
Deleting the entire network account may affect your access to quizzes, results, certificates, community activity, saved content, points, rewards, and other connected services.
How to Submit a Data Deletion Request
Send an email from your registered email address to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request
Include the following information:
- Your full name
- Your username or profile name
- Your registered email address
- Your profile URL, if available
- Whether you want to delete only your Ask Quiz Wallah data or your entire Quiz Wallah network account
- A brief description of any specific information you want deleted
Please do not send your password, OTP, payment PIN, government identification number, or other sensitive credentials.

I understand that account deletion may be permanent and that I may lose access to my profile, questions, answers, quiz activity, results, certificates, points, rewards, and other connected features, depending on the deletion option selected.

Identity Verification
To protect your account from unauthorised deletion, we may verify your identity before processing the request.
Verification may include:
- Asking you to send the request from your registered email address
- Sending a confirmation link or code to your registered email
- Requesting limited account-related information
- Asking you to confirm the scope of deletion
We will never ask you to provide your password or OTP by email.
If we cannot reasonably verify that you control the account, we may be unable to complete the request.
What May Be Deleted
Depending on the scope of your request, deletion may include:
- Your name and profile details
- Your profile photograph
- Your email address and account identifiers
- Notification preferences
- Saved items and follows
- Private account information
- Community activity linked to your identity
- Other personal information associated with your account
Some information may be anonymised instead of completely removed where necessary to preserve community discussions or comply with applicable obligations.
Questions, Answers and Comments
Ask Quiz Wallah is a public knowledge-sharing platform. Deleting your account does not always require the removal of every question, answer, or comment you previously published.
To preserve the meaning and continuity of public discussions, we may:
- Remove your name and profile link from a contribution
- Attribute the contribution to an anonymous or deleted user
- Retain the content without information that directly identifies you
- Remove the content where legally required or reasonably appropriate
If you want a specific question, answer, comment, or image reviewed for removal, include its exact URL in your request.
Information We May Retain
We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
- Complete or document financial transactions
- Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, or security threats
- Resolve disputes or enforce agreements
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
- Protect the rights and safety of users
- Maintain essential business and security records
- Preserve anonymised community discussions
Information stored in backups may remain temporarily until the relevant backup is securely deleted or overwritten according to our retention practices.
We may retain anonymised or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
Paid Transactions
If your account contains payment or purchase records, certain transaction details may need to be retained for accounting, taxation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal requirements.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a pending payment dispute, refund request, subscription, or other financial obligation.
Processing Your Request
We will review and respond to valid deletion requests within a reasonable period and within any timeframe required by applicable law.
Processing may take longer if:
- We need additional information
- Your identity cannot be verified
- The request concerns multiple connected services
- A legal, security, or payment issue must first be resolved
- The request is unusually complex
We will inform you if additional action is required.
Consequences of Account Deletion
Account deletion may be permanent. Depending on the option selected, you may lose access to:
- Your Ask Quiz Wallah profile
- Questions, answers, and comments linked to your account
- Followers and followed topics
- Saved questions and bookmarks
- Points, badges, ranks, coins, or rewards
- Quiz attempts and performance records
- Certificates and achievements
- Purchases or membership benefits
- Connected Quiz Wallah services
Deleted accounts, points, rewards, and progress may not be recoverable.
Please download or save any information you wish to keep before submitting your request.
Cancelling a Deletion Request
If your request has not yet been completed, you may contact us to ask for its cancellation.
Once deletion has been completed, restoration may not be possible.
Requests Concerning a Child
A parent or legal guardian may request the deletion of personal information improperly submitted by a child.
We may require reasonable information to verify the requester’s identity, authority, and relationship to the child before processing the request.
