6. Can I use the same account on QuizWallah.com and Ask Quiz Wallah?

Because both websites are part of the Quiz Wallah multisite network, a connected account may provide access to both platforms.

Available features and profile information may differ between QuizWallah.com and Ask Quiz Wallah.

7. What should I do if I cannot log in?

First, check that you are using the correct registered email address or username and password.

If you have forgotten your password, use the Lost Password or Reset Password option on the login page.

If the problem continues, contact support@quizwallah.com and include your registered email address and a screenshot of the error, if possible.

Never send your password or OTP by email.

8. Can I change my profile information?

You may update available profile details through your account or profile settings.

Usernames, email addresses, or other protected account details may be subject to additional restrictions or verification.

9. Can I create more than one account?

You should normally maintain only one personal account.

Creating multiple accounts to manipulate votes, points, rankings, reports, followers, or other community activity is prohibited and may result in account restrictions.

Asking Questions

10. How do I ask a question?

Sign in and select the Ask a Question option.

Then:

  1. Write a clear title.
  2. Explain your question completely.
  3. Include all options if it is an MCQ.
  4. Mention your subject or examination where relevant.
  5. Add your attempt or explain your confusion.
  6. Select the most appropriate category and tags.
  7. Review the question before publishing.

11. Why should I search before asking?

Your question may already have been answered.

Searching first can provide an immediate solution, reduce duplicate questions, and keep the community better organised.

12. What kinds of questions can I ask?

You may ask genuine questions related to education, examinations, academic subjects, skills, language learning, general knowledge, and other permitted topics.

Questions must follow our Community Guidelines and must not contain unlawful, abusive, copied, private, or harmful material.

13. Can I upload an image with my question?

Where image uploads are available, you may add a clear and relevant image when it is necessary to understand the question.

Do not upload:

  • Copyrighted pages without permission
  • Complete paid study materials
  • Private documents
  • Personal identification
  • Phone numbers or addresses
  • Unrelated or inappropriate images

14. Why was my question closed or removed?

A question may be restricted or removed if it is:

  • A duplicate
  • Unclear or incomplete
  • Posted in the wrong category
  • Spam or promotional content
  • Abusive or inappropriate
  • Copyright-infringing
  • A request for live-examination cheating
  • In violation of our policies

You may improve and resubmit an unclear question when appropriate.

Answers and Comments

15. Who can answer questions?

Registered community members may answer questions where this feature is available.

You do not need to be a teacher to contribute, but your answer should be accurate, relevant, respectful, and genuinely helpful.

16. How do I write a helpful answer?

A helpful answer should:

  • Directly address the question
  • Explain the reasoning
  • Use clear language
  • Include examples when useful
  • Mention reliable sources for important facts
  • Avoid copied material
  • Clearly state any uncertainty

For an MCQ, explain why the correct option is right and, where useful, why the other options are incorrect.

17. What is an Accepted Answer or Best Answer?

The person who asked a question may be able to mark the most helpful response as the Accepted Answer or Best Answer.

This helps other learners quickly identify a useful solution. It does not guarantee that the answer is permanently correct, and it may still be corrected if better evidence becomes available.

18. What is the difference between an answer and a comment?

Use an answer to provide a complete solution or explanation.

Use a comment to:

  • Ask for clarification
  • Point out a possible error
  • Request an additional explanation
  • Add a short, relevant observation

Do not use comments for unrelated conversations, promotion, or personal attacks.

19. Can answers contain links?

Yes, relevant links may be included when they support the explanation.

Links must not lead to spam, scams, malware, pirated materials, unrelated promotions, or unsafe websites.

Adding a link without explaining how it answers the question may be treated as spam.

Votes, Points and Recognition

20. How do votes work?

Votes and reactions help users identify useful content.

Vote according to the accuracy, clarity, relevance, and usefulness of a question or answer. Do not exchange votes, use multiple accounts, or coordinate artificial engagement.

21. What are points, badges, ranks or coins?

Where enabled, these features recognise helpful participation in the community.

They may be awarded for activities such as asking useful questions, publishing helpful answers, receiving positive votes, or earning accepted answers.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, virtual points, badges, ranks, or coins:

  • Have no cash value
  • Cannot be withdrawn
  • Cannot be sold or transferred
  • May be corrected or removed if earned through manipulation

Notifications and Privacy

22. How do I manage notifications?

Available email and website notifications can usually be managed through your account settings.

You may be able to control notifications for answers, comments, followers, topics, and other community activity.

Essential account, security, or policy-related messages may still be sent when necessary.

23. Is my profile public?

Your display name, profile picture, questions, answers, comments, points, and other community activity may be publicly visible and indexed by search engines.

Do not publish passwords, OTPs, payment details, identification numbers, phone numbers, private addresses, or other sensitive information.

26. How do I report content or a user?

Use the Report option available on the relevant question, answer, comment, or profile.

You may also email support@quizwallah.com with:

  • The reason for reporting it
  • Relevant supporting information

Do not submit false or retaliatory reports.

27. What happens after I report something?

Our moderation team may review the content and its context.

Depending on the situation, we may:

  • Take no action if no violation is found
  • Edit formatting or categorisation
  • Add a warning
  • Hide or remove content
  • Restrict account features
  • Suspend or terminate an account

For privacy and security reasons, we may not be able to share every detail of a moderation decision.

28. Can I appeal a moderation decision?

No. Many answers are submitted by community members and may not be reviewed before publication.

Always verify important information through official sources, particularly examination dates, eligibility conditions, vacancies, fees, syllabi, results, and government notifications.

31. Does Ask Quiz Wallah guarantee examination success?

No. Ask Quiz Wallah provides educational and community-learning resources but does not guarantee marks, ranks, selection, employment, or admission.

Results depend on individual preparation, performance, examination conditions, and many other factors.
